On Friday, August 15th, the community came together at Colorado Clays in Brighton, CO for a day filled with camaraderie, competition, and a shared commitment to a great cause. The 22nd Annual Classic Clay Shoot Out, benefiting Easterseals Colorado’s Rocky Mountain Village, was once again a tremendous success.
From the first round of clays to the last shot of the day, the event buzzed with excitement. Teams of participants—ranging from seasoned shooters to first-timers—enjoyed the challenge of the course while building friendships and supporting Easterseals’ mission. Smiles, laughter, and a little friendly competition created the perfect atmosphere for a day outdoors.
But beyond the fun, the Clay Shoot carried a deeper purpose. Every ticket purchased and every sponsorship directly supports Rocky Mountain Village, a fully accessible camp that serves more than 1,200 children and adults living with disabilities each year. Campers are given the opportunity to swim, fish, hike, zipline, and connect through art, music, sports, and recreation in a safe and empowering environment.
The highlight of the day was the opportunity to see the community come together—not only businesses and organizations like Performance Equipment Rentals, but also individuals who care deeply about making Colorado a place where everyone can thrive. The generosity shown through sponsorships, raffle entries, and donations will help ensure that Rocky Mountain Village continues to provide life-changing experiences for campers and their families.
As the sun set over Brighton, participants left with tired arms, full hearts, and a renewed sense of connection. The 22nd Annual Classic Clay Shoot Out wasn’t just about breaking clays—it was about breaking barriers and opening doors of opportunity.
